If she told me that she was confident that she would turn into a butterfly and fly above us all I would no more of contradicted her than with this. She followed her own path without harm to anyone else. It was a surprise to me and made me think about a subject that had not previously touched anyone I knew. It is slightly different to have a friend in frozen limbo. There will always be that "What if?" query hanging in the air when I think of her.
I'm glad you came through your cancer fights. None of us know what tomorrow brings.
The argy-bargy dog thing is breed specific. Usually herders are more visual and spatially aware. Collies don't run into people but Labs are a contact sport. Fluffy was a pain in the neck and a bit of a breed aberration. No surprises there!English Riderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01712384532126551307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652835323489468820.post-58140627634980462942010-06-16T12:43:28.794-07:002010-06-16T12:43:28.794-07:00This is a really special post.
I love your matter...This is a really special post.
I love your matter-of-fact description of life even at the sharp end. I have enormous sympathy for any and all cancer sufferers (I am one of the lucky long-term survivors) but when it came to the bit where a warm human being became a popsicle (brilliant) my path and understanding veered off. Perhaps your friend is right, and she'll be resurrected one day; having been close to extinction twice myself, life is very sweet (most of the time) and I would hate to give it up; but give it up i must one day.

I know all about being knocked in the shin or knee area by a large dog. Benno and his labrador mates weigh a few pounds between them and as he thinks he needs to get between me and any other dog, I usually get the full-bodied protective treatment.Frikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04277167831642088694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7652835323489468820.post-1119507806476888842010-06-16T08:17:18.100-07:002010-06-16T08:17:18.100-07:00Just knowing Sue must have been inspiring.
