PUPDATE

Fiona, above, with her foster family. Fiona had a life-threatening battle with MRSA, the antibiotic-resistant staph infection. She's still being treated for that, but she's on the mend overall.
Frankie, above, is the puppy who had the terrible open sores in a previous post. She now has the energy to be a naughty puppy most of the time. Frankie has lost the sight in one eye, but that doesn't seem to bother her.
Samantha, above, is a born princess. She and Frankie are in the same foster home.
The donations of medications have provided enough to see all three puppies through a three month treatment, with a few to spare. Financial donations pretty much equal the vet bills so far.
There are some great people out there.

  1. Excellent news hen, I do enjoy a happy ending.

By the way... took your advice on the wee pony situation, bought her a VW instead.

    1. Chef, I'm always happy to spread good news.

The VW had me puzzled for a moment, as to what breed of horse that represented. Then I got it... the kind of horse you can park and forget, if needs be. That sounds a much better gift in this case.
