Avoid Human Turkeys

Avoid Human Turkeys, stay home alone, walk dogs, water garden, write Christmas cards, sort closet, read book, watch TV, microwave yesterdays leftovers, drink Beaujolais Nouveau, follow with ice cream.
Wear a smile all day long:)

  2. I get the impression that Beaujolais Nouveau and an all day smile are seemingly connected.

I like your style dear lady.

    1. Chef, I only had one glass, for once. The smile was about the empty space around me and the productive use of my time, doing things that I wanted to do.

    1. M.R. It was hard work getting everyone to leave me alone, but worth it.

  5. Having just been confined to the house for a week with a man with no car and no internet with which to amuse himself....bring on - not the Beaujolais Nouveau - but a glass of Highland Park, in sole possession of the balcony.

  6. The day sounds familiar, except for the wine. But, then again, as a single, retired woman, I can make nearly any day like that if I want to. One of the joys of life as far as I'm concerned. (Except no dog...cats instead, and of course, horses.)

    1. Jean, I rarely have a day without setting aside my own needs for one reason or another. If the stables had been open, I would have chosen horses too.
