I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire!

Few people push me to the point of no return. An excecreble human who betrayed us and did us harm has died at a relatively young age. When his name has come up in the past, I have answered one of two ways. "When I have nothing good to say, I was taught to say nothing", followed by a telling silence, or "I would'nt piss on him if he were on fire".
The news just trickled through that he has died unexpectedly of a possible stroke. My husband is shocked that I cannot be a hypocrite in this situation. I wish he had been struck down many years ago. As it is, I will be thankful that I will not ever have to make a choice to waste perfectly good urine.

  1. So how do you really feel about this guy? Ha!

I understand that some people don't deserve sympathy and admire you for not being a hypocrite. You feel the way you do for a reason.

  2. Gosh! What on earth did he do? But at least you don't fall into the trap of canonising him because he's dead (which so often happens)!

    1. Frances, I will coin a new term "Business Rape". We took him in, taught him a profession, set him up for success and he screwed us over with suppliers and clients then sued us for breach of contract when we stopped directing work to him.

  3. Grey Horse, early riser gets the best line. That's what I was going to say.

  4. There are two such individuals about which I would also make your statement. Fortunately for me, I do not have to see either of them and doubt seriously whether either is worthy of a puddle of piss. Good for you for refusing to give in to paste a smile on your face for the sake of "decorum."

    1. e. His name rarely came up but made my head explode whenever. Soon to be relegated to my Rear view mirror.

  5. I know the feeling. There are people out there so mean that they make us think and express bad things. I once heard someone saying about such a guy something like this: " if I see him lying dead, I'll just spit on him and keep going".

    1. Duta, It takes a long time and a lot of hurt to believe someone is truly evil. They are out there, though outnumbered by the good.

  6. There are a few perfectly beastly people about...why be hypocritical because they die?

    1. Helen, I would expect you to see the logic in that. Thank you.

  7. You made me think of the Mark Twain quote: "I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it."

  8. I know there are people out there who wouldn't say 'shit' if they had a mouthful of it. I know there are people out there who cannot believe that some people are just out and out evil. But they are out there, in force. They are called "psychopaths' or "sociopaths' and they really, truly, are evil people. They really are. They think nothing of others other than as suckers, as deserving of the evil they do, as nothing but..well, prey.
English Rider's 'POS" is such a person. Once that person has purposefully, maliciously and gleefully done evil, they do not deserve my respect, my kindness or my help. They know the difference between right and wrong, and choose wrong. I am not going to let them hurt me twice.

  9. Wow! That is a pretty powerful condemnation of the man. Knowing your sense of integrity--gleaned from reading this blog for a long time--I am quite sure he deserves the contempt. How sad to think there are such horrible people in the world in the first place. I hope you can now find some peace from his venom and that you never meet another person like him.

    1. Jean,
Thank you. I do really hope to put this behind me for ever. I also haven't been near a horse since May, so I'm lacking my usual four-footed therapy outlet.
