Foster dog number two has found a cat-free forever home. His new family came to meet him and took him home almost two weeks ago. We have just gone from Adoption-pending to Adoption-confirmed status. I didn't want to jinx it by mentioning it before. The retired couple who have him have never seen so much of their grandchildren. Boomer has company and kids to play with.
I'm never going to attain great wealth or stardom to measure my success in life, but I'm O.K. with what I have tried to do and sometimes achieved this year; in human and in canine terms.
