Methinks I can stop worrying about her.

  1. Oh these are so darn cute. She is such a fun kitten personality for such a young age and had such a tough beginning. You removed the fear and nightmares if kitten have them. These are so adorable photos.

  4. awww, the little darlings.
don't you just want to cuddle them and play with them and delight in their antics.

  5. Di & Friko, the day to day changes happen so fast. Sparkles is eating crunchy, big-girl food and is confirmed litter-box trained. It's only a week since her last bottle feed! She's just five weeks old now.

  6. Uhm.....looks like she is really suffering--the pangs and fains of utter luxury, utter contentment, and complete happiness!! I love seeing her so totally incorporated into the gang and full of life.

My, her feet look big in that last pic. Promises of things to come, or just a trick of the camera?? *lol*

  7. Jean, I have been saying that I thought she was part Clydesdale. My little Budweiser kitten.

  8. It's such a good job there's lots of water between you and me! I really don't need a kitten but she is so cute and looks very happy with her new friends.

  9. She looks like she's having more fun that you could shake a stick at. Good for her. Good for you.

  11. Methinks you have an angel's touch. Sparkles doesn't know how lucky she is.....wait..I take that back. I think she really does know. Our gray-and-white Pilgrim has returned from near death and he looks at me like I'm his savior. They know gratitude and show it in the form of ganging up on a human foot!

  12. Isn't "methinks" a great word? I've gone all Robin-Hoody just saying it.

Lydia, I'm glad to hear Pilgrim is doing better. Down-hill or up, it all goes so fast.

  14. Your last comment made me laugh out loud, ER. Great to see Sparkles with her chums and doing so well - happy sighs from that hexagonal landmass.

  15. S&S, I think the name helps. The others are all named after soccer players, of course she stands out!

Deborah, memories of a black and white French cat named "Mistral", when I lived near those blue waters of yours. He loved blue cheese and would make the most amazing leaps to attain the Roquefort on the hanging cheese plateau suspended from our kitchen ceiling.

  16. I caught up with your blog early this morning.

I am so sad for you. I still miss my Kate and it's been almost two years. At 4 pounds..Bob isn't much of a replacement.

I like kittens... those three litters boxes give me the shivers... that is the only thing wrong with kittens... they grow up into nosey cats... our Eugene is like living with an evil monkey... nothing is "out of reach".

    Thanks for the e-mail.

  17. Oh, to play like that all morning... sigh.

  18. @eloh, nice to have you back. My house is very quiet now. At least I don't have an evil monkey:) Get to work and entertain us with some great trouble making posts.

imbeingheldhostage, poignant longing for childhood lost?
