Supportive Side of Human Nature

  1. Hopefully the sound person was not injured by a hockey mom.

  2. Silliyak, she wouldn't have been able to see him through the tears in her eyes.

  3. Every once in a while the people come through! It's actually a bit surprising in some ways as most of the time I always think the more avid fans are chomping at the bit to have the anthem over and the game begun. Kind of nice to see a more patriotic and supportive side there.

Glad the little girl is getting a do over. She was doing a great job before the malfunction. I also like that fact that I didn't see any sign of upset on her part...although she may not have been able to hear (or not hear) the failure very well.

  4. So nice to see the nice side of human nature overwhelming the bad... true community spirit.

  5. What a set of pipes!!

There is nothing whatsoever that equals the sound of massed voices raised in song - and in this circumstance, very emotional.

    True community spirit there...

Now, can someone get that microphone shipped to Sarah Palin ?

  10. Owen, Maybe it was the lipstick, that differentiates between pitbulls and hockey moms, that gummed up the microphone.

  11. What a great kid! I'm guessing Ms. Palin wasn't around? There are some I'd be inclined to hear less from.
