My Day, My Way!....almost

I often include something floral in my birthday plans. Today, I went for a quick walk around the gardens of Filoli.

 Tulip Mayhem
Hordes of Hyacinth
Magnolia Overload
By the end of my tour and a lunch of artichokes cut asunder; filled with crab and shrimp; accompanied by a chill glass of Pinot Grigio, I had almost recovered from the fact that I was sold an entry ticket at the discounted Senior rate. I won't qualify for that for another eleven years!

  1. I was in the preferencial queue at Migracion....the security guard checked everyone's age, turfed out the youngsters then whispered to me

'Senora, I would never have guessed....'

Lying young devil...but it made my day!

  5. Helen, Just reading that set the sexy theme. I am obviously a sucker for a foreign accent.

Ms. Pliers, I was writing it off to "Darn Idiot Volunteer"

Jean, Thanks. I went from one perfume pocket to the next.

Pixie, I have a new purse, although the discount didn't quite stretch that far.
